You Have Been Found Wanting

Here is the high quality version of the newest New Moon trailer. Never in the history of movies have I ever been so excited to see PREVIEWS for a movie! I am so excited for this movie I can barely contain myself. Check it out...enjoy!

The Twilight Saga: New Moon 'Meet Jacob Black' Preview in HD

The preview is so super cool because we get our first glimpse of what Jane (Dakota Fanning) looks like. She is one of those characters that I am most looking forward to seeing on the big screen. Of course the entire Italy sequence is one that I hope is well done and CAN NOT wait to see. Thanks to twitter's own vampirefreak101 for the HQ photo.

Another character in the series that I am really excited about and look forward to knowing who will be cast in the role is that of Leah Clearwater. There is a great deal of speculation going on in the city of Vancouver this week. Filming of Eclipse has begun this week and interestingly enough, Vanessa Hudgens has been seen out and about with Nikki Reed (Rosalie Cullen) this week. There was talk a couple of months back that Hudgens could be cast as Leah, but nothing was ever confirmed. Is this proof? Will Summit tell us for sure? She is a pivotal character and she is the one story that Stephenie Meyer said she would like to continue after Breaking Dawn. May I also just say how hideous Hudgens pants are in the photo below? ICK. Anyway, thanks to JustJaredJr.com for the photo.

Nikki Reed has been something of a shop-a-holic these past few days. She was seen out with her fellow cast mate Elizabeth Reaser (Esme Cullen) doing some shopping at one of my favorite stores of all time. For I while I haven't really cared too much for Nikki, but since she was seen two evenings in a row at Kings of Leon concerts and she carries that much merchandise out of the GAP, I think my opinion of her has definitely changed. She is a cool chick! She also likes to make faces for the paparazzi, which I think is hilarious. To see the rest of the photos follow the link to one of my fave blogs, Lainey Gossip.

One person of whom I will NOT change my opinion is Kristen Stewart. She was seen out at a salon in Vancouver yesterday testing wigs. She still has that hideous black mullet on her head. I wish they could do a weave on her head and color it, so that she doesn't look like some heroin addict. She is just so unattractive. According to Lainey Gossip filming did begin yesterday with Jasper and Rosalie flashbacks. Apparently there was talk of Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale) filming a scene on horseback. I would love to see some photos of THAT! To read the story via Lainey go to her website. She is a very gifted and entertaining writer. I often catch myself laughing out loud when reading her articles.

This morning I watched this weeks episode of True Blood and I am so excited that Eric is getting more screen time! This was an especially good episode. We got to see Alexander Skarsgard half naked and got to see a more human side to him. It made me cry to see Godric die. When he was asking Sookie about God. OMG! It was so touching. That show grows on me more and more every week and now that the story line between Eric and Sookie is coming into play a bit more, I am so excited.

Zane didn't do very well getting off to school again this morning. He said that he wanted to stay with me and that he wanted to stay with me all day. He cried and cried for about twenty minutes. It broke my heart. I walked him to his classroom, which he found very easily, and he had this very sad look on his face. When we got to the hallway outside his classroom his teacher told me that he cried some "Mommy tears" yesterday, but that she talked him through it. I told her he might shed a few more today. I hugged him and told him I loved him and that I would pick him up this afternoon and left as quickly as I could. That was one of the toughest things I have had to do. When I picked him up this afternoon, though, he was all smiles. His teacher put him in the car and said he had a much better day today. She said they were doing crafts and that he said, "I'm having so much fun and I'm not even crying." I was relieved! When he got in the car he told me that it was the best day ever. I suppose the honeymoon isn't over. He just had cold feet. Once he makes some good friends and gets used to being there for so many hours, I know he will love it. Everyone please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

One final note. I am so excited to tell you all that I have passed the 400 view mark on this blog. I can hardly believe it. I know that there are quite a few loyal readers and I know I have said it before, but it means more to me than any of you will ever know. THANK YOU!

OOooooo!!!! I just got some AWESOME news. Tune in tomorrow!!

Time Really Does Fly!

I had to add this! On my favorite blog of all time, pinkisthenewblog.com it has been shown that the images of The Volturi from New Moon have been leaked! This is SO FREAKING EXCITING! I can not get over how amazingly perfect they all look and it makes me even more excited (if that's even possible) for the movie's release in November. CHECK THEM OUT!

I digress...OK, so I thought that if I had been to Comic-Con and seen Rob Pattinson and Johnny Depp in the same day or weekend, I would have fainted or had a conniption. I spoke too soon. Apparently Robert Downey Jr. was also at Comic-Con. If I had seen those three men in such a close span of time...someone would have had to call 9-1-1 for sure! I would have melted into the carpet. RDJ was there for Sherlock Holmes as well as Iron Man 2. In all of the photos from the Iron Man 2 panel he was in full blown Tony Stark mode. He looked AMAZING!

At hitfix.com (a website I have just recently come to love!) Gregory Ellwood got the whole story from the Iron Man 2 panel.

At the Sherlock Holmes panel he was greeted with almost more screams than Johnny Depp or Rob Pattinson, which I find hard to believe, but it was probably pretty close. He told the crowd how much he loved them. I'm pretty sure his fans love him more. I have love Robert Downey Jr. for so long. I remember thinking he was beautiful and talented in Weird Science and Less than Zero, but my favorite of his movies has to be Chaplin. He was so brilliant in that. I really love Tropic Thunder, too. He was hilarious in it. I am so glad he got clean and is back in the limelight again. Here is an article from L.A. Times on Sherlock Holmes. I can't wait to see that movie! RDJ + Jude Law = AWESOME!

I saw another interesting bit of info from a cast member of True Blood. Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte) really loved Kristen Stewart in Adventureland, but has not seen Twilight. He also stated that he really likes her and wants her to join him on True Blood. My opinion is PLEASE?! Can she please leave the Twilight franchise? I can't stand her and wouldn't mind a new, more appreciative, Bella. Who's with me? Here is Marc Malkin's article on the subject from E! News.

Another bit of Twilight news that I thought I'd share is a video that was shot by David Slade. Slade is a somewhat unknown director who will be directing the next film in the Twilight Saga, Eclipse. He did a video with the band The Killers in conjunction with MTV and UNICEF to raise awareness of human trafficking. It is a very moving song and an even more touching bit of film work. It makes me feel a little bit better about his capabilities and what he might achieve with Eclipse. The song is now one of my favorite songs of all time and is titled Goodnight: Travel Well.

I am still in the sad-birthday-state-of-mind. I got to work today, thinking that they would have pizza and cake like they usually do and there was nothing. Every time someone has a birthday, the Box Office does something like that, but there was nothing. So all I have to eat for lunch is pretzels. The good times just keep coming. Sarah came through for me though. She gave me a cute card with a Boston Terrier on the front that looks a lot like Lily and a gift card to Bath & Body Works. I think maybe I have been a bad friend and daughter and this is my punishment. I am coming to grips with it. I know that I could be more thoughtful myself and sometimes just a card is all someone might need to help them feel loved on their birthday. I am going to try to be a better friend.

Well, I registered Zane for Kindergarten this morning. He was so excited and the school is really nice. There are all sorts of murals painted on the walls and the teachers seemed nice. He will be going on a staggered schedule at first and then goes every day starting in the middle of August. His first day of school is next Monday and I am sure I'll cry. When your child is a baby and people tell you to enjoy it, because time flies, it is so true! It seems like only yesterday he was toddling around, eating his baby oatmeal and actually taking naps every day.

Tomorrow is a very dreaded day for me. I took Zane to the dentist last Tuesday for his Kindergarten check-up and cleaning and he had three cavities that will have to be filled tomorrow and he will have to have a silver crown, because two of his teeth are rubbing together. I know that these days, dentists are able to do things without very much pain involved and I whole-heartedly hope that's true. He has only been to the dentist for a cleaning and I don't want him to be scared every time we have to go from now on. Keep Zane and me in your thoughts and prayers that all goes smoothly.

I also want to say thank you to Bobby Williams. Bobby, if you read this I adore you and truly appreciate your encouragement and sweet words. It really means a lot to me. I love ya, Bob the Slob!

It's My Birthday. I Can Cry If I Want To

I love vampires as many of you know, so I watch True Blood, of course. They also had a panel at Comic-con that took place yesterday. Apparently Maryanne (the lady that took Tara in when her mother abandoned her) is going to finally show what she truly is...the minotaur thing that attacked Sookie a few weeks back. It was also stated by Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton) that the love triangle between Sookie, Bill and Eric will play out in the series just as it has in the books. I've never read any of those book, but I have heard that they are very adult versions of Twilight. If they are anything like the show, I just might have to give them a read. ;o) Another cool announcement was that there are plans to release an actual True Blood drink. The show's creator Alan Ball said that it will be "a very tasty blood orange soda" that has "all natural ingredients." It will also come in the same sort of bottle that is presented in on the show and can be pre-ordered at hbo.com. I think that sounds so cool, and who doesn't love orange soda? If you'd like to read the story from E! News---here ya go!

Thanks to my favorite website, newmoonmovie.org, a picture was released of Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen) in disguise so that he could walk the floor at Comic-Con. For one, I love that he was a big enough nerd that he wanted to check out the excitement of the event. Second, did he really think this disguise would fool anyone? I might not have recognized him , but I wonder if any other Twilighters did? Could he be any cuter?

Also, on the Twilight front, I wanted to tell my readers about some pretty good fan fiction I have been reading lately. It is called Wide Awake. It is an unusual scenario that involves the idea of Bella being an orphan that goes to live in a girls home run by Esme and there is a boy's home next door run by Carlisle. None of them are vampires, but Edward is a "bad boy" and Bella is a depressed young girl. I must warn you though, there is quite a bit of bad language, and it is pretty steamy! I don't know much about the author, except that she is dedicated and is a decent writer. I am becoming more familiar with fan fiction and some of it is good, some is bad. If you'd like to read Wide Awake I will provide the link below.

I also wanted to share a new picture from Alice in Wonderland of The Red Queen. I am so excited for this movie to come out. March 5, 2010 seems so far away...DUH! Probably because it IS! I hope more photos keep coming out slowly. All of the Burton/Depp fans will be ravenous by then. I think she looks a lot like Elizabeth I.

I am also on flickr, which is a photo sharing website that I adore. I have a photo that I posted there on March 25, 2009 from our Spring Break trip to Forks/La Push and the photo has passed the 1,000 views mark. Most of my photos have around 100 views or less, so for this one to reach this milestone is very special to me.

There isn't a whole lot more to say today, except that it's my birthday. I am 32 years old today. I'll tell you what is crazy: The day I came into the world, I was born at 11:54pm, so technically my birthday is only six minutes long. This has been a crummy birthday. I hate that as you get older, the less important your birthday is. I didn't get any actual gifts today. My mother and Zane each got me a card, which were so sweet. When I got home and checked the mail, though there were no other cards. I'd be lying if I said I haven't been sad today. Thankfully lots of my facebook friends have sent greetings and that cheered me up. Even though the party yesterday was mainly meant for Camryn, I had some wonderful friends and family who made me feel special, but I wish I had felt a little more of that today. It meant the world to me to get to have a good conversation with my friend Anna. She is one of the best listeners I know and it felt good to get some things off of my chest, so Anna, if you read this...I love you and thank you.

There were lots of pictures taken of the festivities. Particularly of me, my sister, Anna and our friend Stephanie on the tube together being dragged around Lake Keowee. I will attempt to get some of those, so that I can share them. They were pretty entertaining!

Today is also the estimated birthday of my precious pup, Lily. Zane and I got her from the Blount County Boston Terrier Rescue in October 2007. They estimated her birthday to be July 26. The vet estimated it to be on July 21, so of course I go with July 26. Taking her home that day was one of the best decisions I have ever made. She is 2 years old today!
